Located in a bustling area with easy access to all attractions, this hotel is perfect for exploring the city. the rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. the staff is extremely helpful and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout the stay. the breakfast offers a variety of tasty options to start the day off right. Plus, the hotel has a reliable WiFi connection, making it easy to stay connected.
The furniture choices in the hotel are not the best, lacking in quality and style.

Great staff all over, they upgraded us to a suite. Restaurant is good, attentive staff. Rooms look good. Very close to the museum... Thee fare fare from airport to hotel is 35,000- 40,000 LBP and must tell the driver that you are going to Hotel de Ville, if you say Golden Tulip they will take you to another hotel in the city center.
It is 25 to 30 min. walking distance from city center. We were traveling with a stroller and it was a little hard to avoid the cars in the busy streets of Beirut... Other inconvenience is that the hotel looks good first impression but there are a lot of little details that convert a 4 star hotel to a 2 star hotel, it needs a lot of maintenance (too bad because the staff is really great), like bathroom leakage, no utensils in little kitchen, no toilet paper, asked for room service and they did not pick up the tray from outside the room until next day.

On checkout the maid found an article of clothing belonging to me and returned it to me right away. Very good service.
The computer printer was unavailable to print my bording pass on a Sunday morning and there was no alternative.

the hotel is located a very quiet area and close to the Down Town
What was shown in the website about the room, is not the reality!

We had a wonderful stay here in this luxurious hotel. The location couldn't have been better - right in the heart of the bustling city, near everything. The service was top-notch with round-the-clock room service, friendly and helpful staff, and even a bell staff to assist with our luggage. The room amenities were excellent, including ironing facilities, air conditioning, and a well-stocked mini-bar. We felt comfortable and relaxed in the spacious sitting area and enjoyed the in-room safe for our valuables. The hotel also had a fantastic dining restaurant, serving delicious halal food, and a bar/lounge area where we could unwind after a long day of exploring. The swimming pool and Wi-Fi access were additional perks that made our stay even more enjoyable.
We highly recommend this place to our family and friends.

The chief of the restaurant is a very nice and friendly person
I was really disapointed by the service of the Hotel and the behaviour of the receptioniste. I have never seen like such Hotel where to switch the room light we need to ask the reception. It happened to me 4 Times and the Hotel manager didn't do any thing to solve the problem. Therefore I was obliged to leave it one day before.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Also, i appreciated the quick check-in/out procedure which i believe is also attributed to the easy going staff. Hotel location is very good, getting to and from the hotel was easy. The area is peaceful and not crowded at all.
Room furniture was pretty old, in working order though. Bathroom was terribly small with a shower box that maks you think twice before getting it (very small).

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The best aspects were the cleanliness, hotel facilities, location in a highly trafficky area near everything, and the helpful staff. Everything was fantastic.
Everything was fantastic.

The room was very small. The bed is tiny and not even enough for two persons although we booked a room for two adults. Trying to upgrade, the charge was substantially high.

The hotel’s location is exceptional, allowing you to be in the heart of downtown within minutes on foot. The staff is helpful and friendly, making you feel welcomed from the start. The room amenities are sleek and modern, with comfortable bedding and a spacious bathroom.
The breakfast area could use some sprucing up, as it looks run down compared to the rest of the hotel. The breakfast itself is mediocre, lacking some variety and flavor.

Breakfast was fantastic. Amer the chef looked after us extremely well. Free satellite tv. The taxi's that the hotel use make it less stressful in getting around. (There are some bad taxi's and taxi drivers in beirut).
Check in was supposed to be at 3pm, but we arrived at 4pm and the room wasn't ready (bed wasn't made up). Ordered room service and had to call 45 mins later to check up on it. They forgot, but made up for it by giving it to us for free. After our second day our room key didn't work and needed to be reporgrammed. The staff were helpful with all this and gave us a bottle of wine in compensation.
